5440.1 General Policy

Graduate program authorities (department chairs, graduate program directors, and the like) will monitor the progress of students in their programs on a term-by-term basis. Academic advisors will have access to this information regarding their advisees, and are expected to contact students when issues of concern are detected in such monitoring.  Some students are subject to mandatory advising per policy 3404.
